How does it work without a filter?
IonDrop releases negative ions that attach to floating dust, pollen and pet dander. The charged particles cling together and become too heavy to stay in the air, so they drop out of your breathing zone and settle on surfaces instead.
Where do the particles go?
They settle onto floors, furniture and nearby surfaces instead of floating around where you breathe. Your normal hoovering and dusting then removes them from your home for good.
Does it help with smells?
It can help freshen the air and reduce everyday smells like cooking, pets and stale rooms. For strong or constant odours, keep the room ventilated as well.
Is it safe to leave plugged in all the time?
Yes. It has a flame-retardant ABS casing and built-in overload protection, and it's designed to run 24/7. Although we do recommend taking it out when not in use.
How much does it cost to run?
Very little. It draws just 3W, which works out at under 2p a day running around the clock (based on about 25p per kWh).
